My Pop vinyl collection

Hello peeps!

How are we? Splendid I presume.

Today I will write about something that I’ve been collecting for a while and have had to stop recently due to lack of display space. Funko pop! vinyls. These little things are so darn cute! I love them. My collection started 3 years ago with the Avengers. Look at how cute they are. Haha, small with big black eyes. Awww… hehe.

Over the years, Funko started expanding their range and now there’s over a bazillion of these things available. Okay, maybe not a bazillion but there is a lot. Their range covers TV shows, movies, Disney characters and sports stars. It’s great for all the fans out there who want to collect figurines of things they like. If you like Games of Thrones you can collect the set, or even Friends.

With Funko expanding their figurines, my collection started to grow too. It continued with the expansion of my Marvel superhero collection to include other Iron man suits and Captain Americas (you can probably tell that I like Iron man and Captain America – anyone else excited for Captain America: Civil War? I know I am!!!!!).

Anyway, where was I, oh yeah, after that my friends starting getting me Pop! vinyls for my birthday and Christmas and my collection expanded to include Batman and Superman and then The Big Bang Theory characters and Despicable Me characters.

My army of superheros! Ok yes, there are 4 Captain Americas and like 3 Iron mans - I did say that I might have a problem right?

The Big Bang Theory Family - I like the details they picked, depict the character styles well.

Despicable Me - they're not so fluffy, so I won't die. But the the big black eyes design still make em' oh so kawaii!!

Then in 2015, I saw the Doctor Who pop! vinyls and well...I had to have them! Yup that’s right, I’m a Whovian, not a full on hard core Whovian, but still a fan nonetheless. These were eventually added to my collection and my shelf was full.

The Doctors - Yes, like i said before i'm a fan... now that's a whole new story as to why. Maybe i'll explain it one day.

Recently, I’ve had time to finish BBC’s Sherlock and well, guess what, that made me want my own Sherlock. Welcome to the collection Mr Holmes!

Mr Holmes - it could be because of Benedict Cumberbatch. Either way. He had to enter the collection. Currently doesn't have a home though.

Whether you want to collect them like me, or just have a few because the pop! vinyls represent your favourite character, I think these things are awesome. They also make great gifts for friends who love particular shows.
